Security Advisor

We are seeking a talented and experienced Security Advisor to join our team and support our product development efforts. As a Security Advisor, you will work closely with multiple product development teams, focusing on third-party integrations, service offerings, and compliance standards.

You will play a critical role in evaluating products against industry regulations, identifying potential security risks, and devising strategies to mitigate them.

Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create product roadmaps that prioritize security and compliance requirements.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with product development teams to assess security implications of third-party integrations and service offerings.
• Conduct thorough security reviews of products against various compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate remediation measures.
• Develop and implement security best practices and guidelines for product development teams.
• Provide guidance and support during the design and implementation phases to ensure security requirements are met.
• Work closely with compliance teams to address audit findings and maintain compliance with relevant standards.
• Assist in creating and maintaining product roadmaps that incorporate security and compliance considerations.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on product security and compliance.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards such as 62443, Azure Security Bench marking, SOC 2, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
