Business Analyst

We are searching for a Business Analyst/Scrum Master

This position is based in Warsaw, and you will join our New Archive Platform team. The New Archive team (Core Banking domain) is in charge of implementing the new modern archive platform together with our vendor at NetCompany. We are looking for a skilled Scrum Master that will participate in the journey towards implementing the new archive platform for our customers in the banks.

The Scrum Master role offers work with one of the top prioritized initiatives in the area. We are a team of 12 members spread across our two locations in Roskilde and Warsaw. You will work closely with the Development Manager, Product Owner and Epic Owner in planning and coordinating the work to be done in the team. Apart from high skill of Java and Cobol, the team is also known for their exceptional sense of humor, which with a bit of coaching (this is where you come in!) is a recipe for instant success ;)

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate often in the office, but we also keep the opportunity to work remotely up to 8 days per month. Your direct manager will be Melanie Uglebjerg Gibson.

Primary tasks and responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the Development Manager, Product Owner and Epic Owner in planning and coordinating the work to be done in the team.
• Educating the team in best Agile practices (especially Scrum, Kanban).
• Facilitating meetings and workshops in the NAP-team.
• Continuously challenging, developing, coaching, and supporting the NAP-team.
• Close collaboration and alignment with the vendor of the New Archive Platform.
• Participating actively in the domain’s Scrum Master Community to identify and implement improvements across the teams.

To succeed you will need to have:

• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Min.3-5 years of experience in a similar position (Scrum/Kanban/Scaled Agile)
• PSM certification
• At least basic Jira, Confluence, Teams knowledge
• Great communication skills
• Structured mind and an eye for detail
• Servant Leadership skills
• Ability to steer team and self through stressful and challenging situations.
• Proactiveness and be result-oriented
• Team-player mentality

It’s nice-to-have:

• Interest in IT-and trives to understand the technical part of our solutions
