Technical Product Specialist

Your role
As Technical Product Specialist at Clayton Power, you will play a critical role in supporting their customers by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service. Furthermore, you will play a central role in filling in the important technical gap between customer support, production, and R&D - including bridging the knowledge exchange across these functions.

You can look forward to the following main tasks and key responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries related to Clayton Power products.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to customers and own sales team members, including product demonstrations, technical specifications, and system integration guidance.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product development team to understand product capabilities and limitations and provide feed-back for product improvements.
• Develop and maintain product documentation including user manuals, technical specifications, and applications notes (all in English).
• Assist with post-sales support, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues reported by customers.
• Conduct product training sessions for internal staff and external partners.

The position is newly created, which means that you will have the opportunity to shape and influence your own area of responsibility and grow into a key employee in the organization. You will work from their HQ in Odense.

Your profile
To succeed in the role, we imagine you possess the following qualifications:

• Preferably a technical background as machinist, industrial electrician, electrical installer, mechanical-/electrical, electro engineer – or similar.
• Min. 5 years’ experience as technical support, product specialist, product management, commissioning, or related technical experience.
• Solid understanding of electrical diagrams and dimensioning of cables.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts.
• Familiar with both high and low voltage systems and able to work with the PC configuration layer.
• Knowledge of lithium-battery systems, power electronics or renewable energy systems is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• English fluent spoken and written is a requirement. Danish is an advantage.
