This position is available in Copenhagen as a hybrid role, and we are unable to support or offer relocation.
Job Responsibilities
As a Backend Engineer, you will join one of our product teams. We place a high value on superior software craftsmanship, adherence to coding best practices, and a team-oriented spirit. In our inclusive environment, everyone has the voice to suggest changes and improvements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Developing and optimizing scalable backend systems.
- Collaborating with other teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensuring great code quality that helps our customers solve real world problems.
- Receiving feedback from our users and making our product even better
Background & Skills
- Proven experience as a NodeJS backend developer who knows TypeScript really, really well.
- Experienced in designing robust APIs
- Proficient with relational databases.
- Working with message queues such as Kafka.
- Experience writing test automation (unit, integration, end to end, contract tests).
- Ability to write clean, modular, and testable code.
While nice to haves include familiarity with Open Telemetry, gRPC, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL would be awesome but it's not mandatory. If you know Java or Go that’s a big plus.
