We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate Development to work closely with the Lead of Development to support development efforts of complex energy projects across the U.S. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in collaborating and overseeing various aspects of our development projects from the development phase into construction management. This job is located in Bloomington, IL.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Review key contracts, identify Owner deliverables, and prepare deliverable overview.
  • Merge project schedules and perform regular schedule update and analysis.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly project report including tracking and analysis KPIs.
  • Set-up progress tracking sheets for Management team.
  • Facilitate monthly updates of risk and opportunities with key Project team member.
  • Update contractual milestones in our power BI system monthly.
  • Set-up and maintain data room.
  • Track that document submittals from subcontractors happens timely including as-built documentation.
  • Track change orders and notices, major invoices, and insurance claims in any.
  • Prepared ad-hoc analysis and effective presentations.
  • Bridge the gap between development and construction.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and external consultants to evaluate site layouts, technology options, and interconnection applications.
  • Manage external stakeholders supporting environmental assessment campaigns.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business project management (PMP) or related degree.
  • 2-5 years’ working proven experience in handing projects in an international environment.
  • Proven track record of successful experience in both development and construction management of renewable energy projects.
  • Proficient user of MS Office suite, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project.
  • Excellent understanding of key commercial contracts & insurance plans.
  • Must be eligible to work for any U.S. employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s license in their state of residence.

  • Attention to Detail and Deep Dive: Ensure that all tasks are completed with attention to detail and a comprehensive 360-degree overview.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to change direction when necessary and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Ownership: Commit to driving tasks to completion, with the ability to seek guidance or assistance in prioritization when necessary.

Physical requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
  • Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
